The convoy of the Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagin has been involved in a terrible motor accident Friday morning at Juaso near Konongo in the Ashanti Region.
Dispatch rider of the Speaker of Parliament, Chief Inspector Kaakyire Abednego is feared dead.
An eye witness said in an interview with TV3, also monitored by Kasatintin.com that:
‘The dispatch rider who was clearing the way for the Speaker died in the process which occurred at around 9AM exactly Juaso, before Juaso Junction in the Ashanti Region’.
The deceased crushed into a Nissan Sentra with registration GT 2173-21, whose driver attempted to overtake an articulated truck ahead of him.
The body of the dispatch rider is reported to have been transferred from the Juaso Government Hospital to Accra.
Speaker Bagbin was in Accra and not in the convoy at the time the incident occurred.
