Award winning sports journalist, Saddick Adams popularly called ‘Sports Obama’ has shared his worst experience in life.
Saddick Adams explained how he once got angry with taxi drivers in Kumasi for arbitrarily increasing their fares one Friday evening after the rains.
Saddick said one taxi driver wanted to charge him GHS 35 from Abrepo where he worked to his home in Atasamanso.
He didn’t understand why the taxi drivers were insensitive and charging such fares for a short distance whereas a bus to Sunyani, a long journey cost only GHS 12.
So he walked to the bus station and joined the bus to Sunyani to sleep.
His funny tweet read:
‘When I worked at Angel FM Kumasi, one Friday evening it rained and Taxis were charging abnormal prices. One wanted 35 cedis from Abrepo to Atasamanso. Metro Mass bus to Sunyani was 12 cedis. I walked to the bus station and joined the bus to Sunyani to sleep’.
