Head pastor of the International God’s Way Church (IGWC), Angel Bishop Daniel Obinim has displayed fresh US$100 notes to celebrate his release from police custody.
Angel Obinim, who spent about three days, three nights in police cells showed his excitement by flaunting the cash in a set of new photos he shared on social media and sighted by Kasatintin.com.
The police arrested the controversial preacher on Tuesday, May 19 and charged him for publication of false news.
He was also charged for forgery of document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offences Act, 1960 (Act 29) respectively.
The man of God was granted bail to the tune of GHC100,000 with three sureties and one person to be justified.

Angel Obinim was released from the custody of the Ghana Police Service on Friday after he managed to meet the bail requirements.
The bishop’s lawyers had pleaded for his release on the grounds that he had a particular heart condition.
It is alleged that the IGWC founder could initially not meet the bail conditions resulting in his detention at the police station for more days.
The tabloids widely reported that Obinim was struggling to meet the terms of the bail.
However, Politician and businessman Kennedy Agyapong offered to use one of his houses as a surety to ensure his release.
Obinim is now out of police cells but he will re-appear in court on June 1.
Photos on Bishop Obinim Ministries Facebook page captured the embattled man of God in a jubilant mood.

Obinim, claded in an all white apparel with agal to match displayed US$100 notes in one of the social media photos.
He also appeared to be dancing to a live band music in another photo.
Angel Obinim is probably making a statement with the viral photos.
‘Stop the long talk. I have plenty dollars in my bank account to bail myself even if nobody is willing to help me’.
This is what we think, anyway. What about you?
