Fire has razed down the studios of Accra-based television network, Angel TV on Sunday, August 15 forcing the station to shut down.
The fire destroyed several equipment in the Master Control Room (MCR) and property in one studio and adjourning offices of the TV station located at Lapaz, Accra.
The fire outbreak is said to have been caused by an electrical fault at the MCR, when it was preparing to go live with the news.
Officers on duty ran for safety and called in the Fire Service.
The station came back on air on Tuesday, Kasatintin.com can report.
For now, Angel TV is playing only gospel music possibly to drive away evil spirit which might have caused the inferno at media house.
