A group of enraged youth from Kumasi-Asuyeboah in the Ashanti region descended on the Suame Police Station on Sunday to demand the release of officers who allegedly killed a local young man well known as Obirisko.
According to reports, the police arrested Obirisko on Friday,October 18,2024 on suspicion of selling marijuana in the area.
It is believed that police officers beat him severely after the arrest, and the physical assault resulted in Obirisko’s death.
