The residence of Ghana’s former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has been raided by unknown men dressed in military uniforms.
The uniformed individuals entered Mr Ofori-Atta’s Cantonments residence on Tuesday,February 11, but it is yet to be known whether anything was taken from his premises.
Mr. Ofori-Atta was reportedly out of the country when the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon—but some family members including his wife, were present during the tragic event.
The motive behind the raid is immediately not known.
About three years ago, Ken Ofori-Atta suffered a serious illness which led to him being flown out of Ghana for treatment. There is more information in the video below.
