News coming in indicate that some party members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (Congress) have stormed the the party office in Ho Central to allegedly register their discontent with President John Mahama for failing to appoint a member from the constituency into his government.
According to reports, the angry supporters, mainly youth, broke into the party office on Tuesday evening.
A thick flame covered the office in a video TV3 shared on the X platform and sighted by Kasatintin.com.
Meanwhile, NDC youth in Kenyasi in the Asutifi North Constituency of the Ahafo Region, have vowed to leave the party if the President does not appoint Adu-Bonsu Elisha O’Shea as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asutifi North.
But President Mahama has publicly stated that he will run a lean government, and truthfully, not everyone in the party will be part of his appointees, at least for now.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) is also expecting much more work from Mahama.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah charged the President to deliver on his promises.
He said ’No matter the explanation you (NDC MPs) give, what the people of Ghana are waiting for is that fuel prices don’t go up, electricity prices don’t go up, fuel is available at the pumps, and the lights don’t go off…’.
