Captain Smart remains a staff of Angel FM despite he launching an online TV station, Smart TV.
Angel FM morning show listenership has dwindled ever since Captain Smart left the station. This translates into huge revenue loss for the media house.
The ‘too-knowing’ broadcast journalist was taken off air a few days ago by Dr Kwaku Oteng over claims that his utterances on the ‘Fa be wo so’ show was making the ruling NPP government unpopular.
Captain Smart confirmed in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere on Good Evening Ghana that, he has indeed been suspended.
He added that he was falsely accused of insulting President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, the IGP and Alan Kyeremanten.
Other reports say there have been bad blood between Captain Smart and his boss, Dr Kwaku Oteng , and the later wanted a breathing space.
However, the seemingly ‘cat and mouse relationship’ between Sthe two parties will end soon.

It is alleged Dr Kwaku Oteng personally ‘begged’ Captain Smart to continue to work with his media house because he’s badly needed to save Angel FM from collapse.
