Mobile phone users will enjoy special data bundle packages following a concluded agreement between government and the three telecom operators—MTN, AirtelTigo and Telecel.
According to the Minister of Communications, Sam George Nartey, the mobile network operators will provide the special data bundle offer on five national holidays including Independence Day, May Day, Republic Day, Founders Day, and Farmers Day.
Sam George confirmed at a press briefing on Wednesday that ‘the Independence Day test run was a resounding success, and I am looking forward to the May Day offering as we celebrate the workers of Ghana’.
He also assured mobile phone users that his Ministry will work closely with the mobile network operators to improve their quality of service.
