Tamale-based businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Ayaana, 65 has begun his over 250km journey on foot to Accra.
Alhaji Ayaana is embarking on the long walk to honour President-elect John Mahama for his decisive win in the 2024 presidential election.
Mahama will be sworn into office on Tuesday,January 7,2025 in Accra.
The 65-year-old first travelled down to Kumasi in a vehicle before beginning his journey on foot.
He intends to witness Mahama’s inauguration upon his arrival in Accra. Watch video here.
