Ghanaians have become used to serving ‘koko’ or porridge in plastic bags.
But did you know that this practice is actually harmful and you are indeed indirectly signing your own death certificate by drinking hot porridge packaged in a plastic bag? Don’t argue!
This is the whole point; according to the Ashanti Regional Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Dr. Jackson Adiyiah Nyantakyi drinking hot koko from a plastic bag is equivalent to smoking 36 sticks of cigarettes.
Dr Nyantakyi explains that the additives and chemicals used in plastic production have a significant impact on human health and should be avoided.
In other interesting scientific studies, it has been proven that kissing too much can damage one’s eardrum and in the long term, cause hearing impairment.
In a published report sighted by Kasatintin.com,the researchers stated that;
1.A deep, forceful kiss creates a powerful suction effect.
2.This suction can suddenly change the pressure inside the ear.
3.If the pressure is too strong, it can rupture the eardrum, leading to pain, hearing loss, and even dizziness’. (Click on this link to continue to read more about this latest research).
