The final funeral rites for the late father of gospel musician, Elder Mireku is underway in Koforidua Jubilee Park.
The deceased,Elder Emmanuel Kofi Mireku was 105years when he died in 2024.
He was a senior church leader in Church of Pentecost.
Kofi Mireku’s began his music ministry in the late 1970s and he is credited with over 5000 songs and had 56 albums.
Mourners from walks of life sympathised with the bereaved family.
Some Ghanaian gospel stars including Diana Hamilton, Ohemaa Mercy, Piesie Esther, Jack Alolome, Mary Ghansah, MOG and Tagoe Sisters were also spotted at the funeral grounds.
