Vice President and the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Dr Mahamud Bawumia has conceded defeat to his main contender, John Mahama.
Bawumia failed in his bid to win the 2024 presidential elections to enable him to succeed the outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo, whom he had served for the past 11years.
The Electoral Commission is yet to declare official results, but Bawumia acknowledge the provisional results in his address to the state on Sunday, December 8.
Bawumia said that, he had called former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama and congratulated him. More in the video below.
