The Electoral Commission (EC) has resolved to reprint all ballot papers meant for the Volta and Ahafo regions due to incorrect serial numbers on them.
Deputy Chairman of Operations at the EC, Samuel Tettey announced the anomaly and the corrective measures at an emergency IPAC meeting on Friday, November 15,2024.
Mr Tetteh indicated that while the printing of ballot papers has generally proceeded smoothly, serious concerns have been raised in recent weeks regarding the serialisation of ballots for the Ahafo and Volta regions.
To resolve this, he said the Commission will reprint both the presidential and parliamentary ballot papers for the two affected regions, and the printing will be done by Buck Press and Acts Commercials. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
