Popular Ghanaian dish, Kenkey and fish has gained global attention after the Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and wife, Priscilla Chan were spotted in a photo enjoying the Ghanaian dish at a private party.
Mark Zuckerberg and his wife served hot Ga kenkey and fish during the baby shower of their first child, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg. And they ate the same meal too.
The billionaire couple excitedly took pictures whiles hosting their mouth-watering ‘kenkey party’.
Kasatintin.com gathers that the Zuckerberg family held the baby shower ceremony in 2015 but photos of this memorable event are trending on social media this week.
Mark Zuckerberg’s endorsement of kenkey and fish is absolutely sending a big message to Ghanaians as most of people these days prefer to eat ‘junk foods’ instead of consuming the fresh, nutritious local dishes.
Quite a number of ‘b0gus’ studies have also scared Ghanaians over the consumption of local meals such as fufu, konkonte, and even koobi and momone. Some research have shown that these foods cause all forms of cancer.
