Kofi Adoma will anchor Angel FM news to be aired daily at 6.00am, 12.00pm and 6.00pm stating June 1.
The Kofi TV CEO is coming back to mainstream radio barely two years after he resigned from Multimedia.
Kofi Adoma was the regular host of Adom FM’s prime time news, ‘Kaseibo is Tasty’ before his resignation in November 2018.
Kofi was undoubtedly the biggest Akan newscaster on Ghana radio during his 11years stay at Adom FM. He drew audience with his witty style of presentation.
He read the news as a comic script meant for a theatre performance at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. But the trend has changed significantly since his exit from mainstream radio in 2018.
News is now a serious business. The competition in that space is no joke at all. People’s interest in ‘concert party-like’ Akan news presentation has waned drastically.
Adom TV’s Maame Kyeraa Diamond and a few others have raised the standards of news presentation. They are highly professional and deliver the news devoid of exaggerations.
Kofi Adoma will not survive on the airwaves if he does things the same old ways. He must learn to adapt to the new trends of newscasting.

Kofi TV is doing well in terms of reach and content. YouTube pays him a million cedis as people watch his channel. He can’t deny this.
Kofi Adoma is a boss on his own. It is no crime if he helped another to build a brand however his own business must come first.
It will be a delight to see Kofi TV rise to the Top 5 media brands in Ghana in the next 5years. Why does Kofi Adoma Nwanwani still want to ‘enslave’ himself at Angel FM/TV?
