President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has addressed a number of issues concerning his country and the African continent in an exclusive interview on international news channel, France 24.
On the recent arrest of activists and protesters of #StoptheGalamasey campaign, President Akufo-Addo told France 24 that he cannot be blamed as the law is being enforced.
‘I’m not responsible for jailing people in Ghana. The courts in Ghana are independent institutions, and they have been all through this period of the Fourth Republic’, he stated.
President Akufo-Addo also said security in Sahel has ‘worsened’ since French troops left. Watch full interview in the video below.
