Most Ghanaian men have become interested in how they can boost their sperm count in the last few days.
Their aggressive desire has been sparked by calls from fertility clinics to have healthy young men between age 18 and 29 to donate some of their sperms for cash. Sperm donors can earn as a high as GHC 2,500 per week.
There is a better way to have a wholesome semen if you so wish to donate some for cash or to make babies with your own partner.
Nutritionist Fred Amese has encouraged men to eat ‘GobƐ’ (gari and beans garnished with plantain and oil) so that they can improve their fertility.
He explained in interview with 3FM monitored by Kasatintin.com ‘For quality sperms and ovaries, GobƐ is number one…This is because, it is very rich in fiber. So all foods that are high in fiber are essential for good sperm quality. It is very rich in protein. GobƐ has very rich protein quality. Because in protein diets, the quality of the protein is also important. Then it’s very high in carbohydrates…It also has micronutrients. So when it comes to sperm quality, micronutrients are very important’.
One Twitter user, Emmanuel Akorlo confirmed the doctor’s assertion and said ‘Yes it’s true because gob3 is rich in protein and protein is essential for the formation of spermatozoa which improves the spermatic power of the sperms in the process called spermatogenesis’. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
