Ghanaian politician,Dorcas Affo-Toffey who is the Member of Parliament for Jomoro in the Western Region narrowly escaped a serious accident on Thursday dawn at Komenda Junction.
The legislator and her team numbering three were traveling back to Accra after launching her campaign at Half Assini over the weekend when the tragic incident happened on the Takoradi-Cape Coast-Accra Highway.
Eyewitnesses say Madam Affo-Toffey‘s driver ran their Ford Raptor into a nearby bush to avoid a head-on collision with a heavy truck which attempted to overtake another truck whose driver was believed to be dozing off.
The victims are currently receiving treatment. They are in stable condition but the NDC MP’s car sustained some harsh damages. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
