Election process in Suhum, Koforidua, Kumasi, Ho and some part of Ghana has been suspended due to heavy rains.
The rainstorm started a few minutes before 5.00pm when polls were expected to officially come to an end.
The rain lasted for more than an hour and it is raining at some areas where people are still in queue to cast their votes.
Voting can only resume after the rains have subsided. But Kasatintin.com can report that counting of ballot papers is underway in some polling centres where voting has ended.
Ghanaian Prophet Reindolph Oduro also popularly known as Eagle Prophet has interpreted the ‘election day rains’ as a bad omen for Ghana.
According to him, the rainstorm will disrupt the entire election process which will make it difficult for the Electoral Commission to declare the winner of the Presidential election.
