American rapper Cardi B left some of the ‘most respected’ Ghanaian celebrities stranded at the Kempinski Hotel this weekend.
The Ghanaian celebrities, mostly slay queens were expected to ‘meet and greet’ Cardi B at the hotel for reasons best known to them.
It turned out that the American rapper was not properly informed by her Management team that she would ‘meet and greet’ the expectant Ghanaian celebrities wo had gathered at the Kempinski Hotel.
Cardi B did something better with her time whiles the Ghanaian celebrities waited for her close to 8 hours.
And OMG, Cardi B was having a ‘kyikyinga’ (kebab) party in her hotel room as ‘yaanom’ were also waiting.
Some Ghanaian celebrities took to social media to express their displeasure at Cardi B.
Afia Schwarzenegger for instance did not take it easy at all. She r0asted the American rapper for snubb!ng her fellow celebrities.
In spite of this, Cardi B has done the needful; she has since rendered an unqualified apology to the worried celebrities.
So the celebrities borrowed clothes, wig and other accessories just to go ‘meet and greet’ Cardi B?
One renowned Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei is reported to have said recently that slaying is the reason why ‘everyone is desperate borrowing clothes to make a mark on the Red carpet’.
The actor added that ’emergence of this so called trend and many more is the reason people are going nu .de and doing whatever they can to become popular’.
Information Kasatintin.com has gathered claims that some of the celebrities did ‘borrow’ clothes, wig and pair of shoes from friends to attend the ‘meet and greet’ Cardi B event.
It is alleged that some of the so-called celebrities have refused to return the outfit and whatnot they ‘borrowed’ from their friends who own cosmetic and beauty salons in Accra and Kumasi.
Information suggests that some of the celebrities have been playing hide-and-seek with their creditors to avoid embarrassment.
