President John Mahama has appointed Retired Commissioner of Police (COP) Nathan Kofi Boakye as the Director of Security Operations at the Presidency.
Mahama has also appointed former Chief of Staff, Prosper Douglas Bani as his National Security Advisor.
The rest of his latest appointments include Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Abdul Osman-Razak as National Security Coordinator and Charles Kipo as the Director-General of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
These key appointments to the nation’s security apparatus reflect John Mahama’s commitment to ensuring national security and the safety of all Ghanaians, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President’s spokesperson noted in a press statement on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
