President John Mahama’s promise to reset the the Ghanaian economy by ensuring that businesses run 24hours per day has gained the attention of Universal Motors Limited, the sole authorised distributor of Volkswagen (VW)cars in Ghana since 2005.
Universal Motors, which is behind the huge popularity that the German brand has gained in the country and also operates a showroom and workshop fully compliant with Volkswagen’s International standards has announced a 13-hour shift schedule in line with President Mahama’s transformative vision.
‘The move is a good news’, some Ghanaians commended the German automobile company in the initiative and leading the way.
IMANI boss, Franklin Cudjoe also shared a flyer of the company in his post on X, quoting exactly what Universal Motors said in its publication material.

🕒 New Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
This marks the first step toward achieving a vibrant, efficient, and productive nation’.
