It appears Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has settled on Sarah Adwoa Safo, Dome Kwabenya MP as his choice of running mate for the 2024 general elections.
Bawumia, who turned 60years old in October this year, is the flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Bawumia is under intense pressure after missing the party’s constitutionally mandated December 6 deadline to present his running mate for consideration.
Reports indicated that the highest decision-making body of the NPP rejected the candidates he earlier presented for consideration.
One of the party’s social media influencers, Gen. Buhari has hinted that Bawumia may pick a female running mate and it is likely a done deal for Sarah Adwoa Safo.
