The police have grabbed a young man, identified as Nii Frank for allegedly having sex with a turkey at Papase Number 1 near Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
The turkey is said to belong to one Eva who contracted Nii Frank to mold blocks for her at home.
Whiles at Eva’s house, Nii saw the bird walking around the compound and playfully asked if he could touch it.
After a brief conversation, Eva entered her room and left him alone on the compound.
When she came out, Nii Frank and the bird were nowhere to be found.
Eva began to search every corner of the house and later saw the suspect coming from the back of the building while pulling his trousers up.
The turkey bird too was lying down feeling very weak and unable to walk.
Upon careful examination, Eva found that the anus of the bird was wide open with some whitish liquid substance spread across the genital area.
Nii Frank vehemently denied having sexual contact with the turkey.
He has been placed in police custody while the turkey has been taken to the veterinary for testing.
