A young Ghanaian man, popularly known as Ayoma has climbed to the top of a telephone mast with a gallon of water and some food items in Asenua in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Ayoma says he will not come down until Nana Akufo-Addo is declared winner of the 2020 elections.
Kasatintin.com gathers that the man climbed up the telecommunications mast with a Flag of Ghana, a gallon of water, and some food items on Thursday evening.
This is the second time Ayoma has embarked on such a deadly mission.
Confirming the incident in a media interview, the Assemblyman of the Asenua Electoral Area said:
‘Ayoma has found himself a place to sit on top of the mast. His bag and gallon of water are all close to him. He told people in the area he was going to climb up the mast and until President Akufo Addo is declared winner in the December polls, he will remain there’.
According to the Assemblyman all his attempts to convince him to rethink his perilous decision has yielded no results.
‘I have now decided to go report to the police to see how they can come deal with the matter’, he stated.
Several people in the Asenua community had gathered at the base of the mast as the time of filing this report.

In a related story, a renowned spiritualist in Ghana, Nana Mosi has put his life on the line, saying his head should be cut off if the December 7 poll results turn in favour of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Nana Mosi described the polls that pointed to a victory for President Akufo-Addo as false and should be ignored.
‘Mahama will be the next President’, he said ‘I should be beheaded just like John the Baptist in the bible and be exhibited for the entire nation to see if my prophecy does not come to pass’.
