A man has been arrested in Uganda after he chopped off his wife’s ears.
According to a news report sighted by Kasatintin.com, the 40 year old man, identified as Gerald committed the act for what he claimed was her wife’s ‘failure’ to listen to his advice’.
From what we gather, Gerald allegedly used a sharp knife to cut off the two ears of his wife a week ago, and ‘has now been charged with attempted murder and intention to cause grievous harm of unlawful wounding’.
Gerald has been remanded in police custody after he pleaded not guilty in his first appearance in court.
Investigations are underway.
The suspect will reappear in court at the latter part of this month.
