A Ghanaian man has beaten his 13-year-old daughter, Celestine to death for eating leftover food meant for her younger sibling.
The girl’s father,named Issah decided to discipline the deceased after her stepmother, Grace reported the matter to him upon his return from work.
Issah allegedly use a cane to beat Celestine, and also brutally assaulted her with a shovel and cutlass, leaving her to suffer internal bleeding.
Despite her fragile condition, Celestine was reportedly left unattended to and later died.
Police arrested Grace after neighbours informed police about the incident.
Issah, who fled the scene was later arrested by authorities.
