A reverend minister of the Methodist Church at Dadwin in the Adanse area of the Western Region is in hot waters after it emerged that he had had sex with a 40-year-old woman in the bush.
Rev Kwabena Finn, 45 has been forced by the Adanse traditional council to perform purification rites at where the sexual interc0urse took place, arguing the act is forbidden and has brought disgrace to the town.
The Odikro of the town said the incident occured about six years ago. Rev Finn and 40-year-old Julie screwed themselves in bush.
It remained a secret until a spirit revealed their sexual encounter to a lady in the town through a dream.
He stated that ‘the woman who had the relevation later confronted Julie that someone has had sex with you in a bush six years ago. We asked Kwabena Finn (male suspect) and he confirmed that indeed they had sex in the bush. So, that is how we found out’.
In an interview with Adom TV monitored by Kasatintin.com, the Odikro added that the suspect defied the gods by having an affair in the bush.
In a video, Rev Kwabena Fin was seen carrying a sheep around his neck and roaming the streets of Dadwin in order to cleanse himself.
He was also taken to the site where he made love to the woman to conclude the purification rites.
According to the Odikro, they presented a fowl, some eggs, a bottle of Schnapp to the gods and the gods accepted the sacrifice.
