IG influencer and model Joselyn Cano also popularly called ‘Mexican Kim Kardashian’ has died on December 7 in Columbia from a failed butt lift surgery. She was 29 years old.
Fellow model Mercer broke the news of Cano’s death on Twitter writing: ‘Omg Joselyn Cano died in Colombia getting surgery. That’s wild.’
The Akes Family Funeral Home also confirmed the model’s demise with a short mesaage:
‘Joselyn entered this life on Wednesday, March 14, 1990. She entered into Eternal Life on Monday, December 07, 2020.’
Tributes have poured in from celebrities across the world.
Jenna Lane’s emotional tribute to the fallen star as sighted by Kasatintin.com said:
‘Rest In Peace To A Dear Friend Joselyn Cano. I’m still so shocked about the news. I didn’t want it to be true. Still in shock…’
Cano had over 13 million followers on her Instagram page. She set up her own Swimwear clothing line and studied microbiology at San Diego State University before becoming a social media influencer and model.
