The founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim been arrested by the Police.
According to a release by the Police, Bishop Obinim also popularly known as Angel Obinim has been charged with the offences of publication of false news and forgery of document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offences Act, (1960) (ACT 29) respectively
He has been granted bail in the sum of GHS100,000 with three sureties, one person to be justified.
The Police stated that the suspect is also under investigation for other offences leveled against him.
Thee man of God is expected to re-appear before the court on 1 June 2020.
