The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man who physically assaulted a woman, believed to be his wife at their residence at Ofankor in the Ga East Municipality.
A viral video captured the embarrassing moment when the man visibly punched the woman who was at this point nak3d and sitting on the ground.
Police arrested the suspect identified as John Odartey Lamptey, on Monday, November, 17, 2025, at the family residence.
In addition, the police has picked up two of Lamptey’s siblings, Grace Kushie Lamptey and Louis Odartey Lamptey, who attempted to attack a female tenant who they suspect recorded and shared the video the security relied on to effect the arrest.
