The General Overseer of Champion Truth Cathedral, Bishop Ndibueze Okorie Onyagoziri in police custody for allegedly s3xually exploiting a 22-year-old female sickle cell patient under the guise of changing her genotype from SS to AA.
Reports suggest that the cleric had been in the habit of having canal knowledge of female members of his church who were in one need or the other, to provide succour for them.
The Ebonyi State Police Command has confirmed that the bishop is in their custody at the police headquarters and the case is under investigation.
‘On Wednesday, October 1, he was arrested by our men and brought to the state police command over the act’, the police PR stated.
In a video, the victim narrated that the suspect convinced her to spend some days in his church for quicker spiritual treatment of her ill condition.
She said her family also agreed to the supposed spiritual direction so she moved in to stay with Bishop Onyagoziri.
She alleged that the bishop had assured her that a seven-day s3x marathon with him would help change her genotype from SS to AA.
She stated that out of her desperation to survive the sickness that had already killed her three other siblings, she succumbed to the suggestion of the man of God.
But after the seven-day sexual interc0urse with the suspect, her health issues rather deteriorated. She informed her sister about it, who insisted she must return home since the so-called divine treatment was no longer working.
However, the victim said ‘The Bishop repeatedly threatened to upload pictures of our sexual activities on social media if I left him’.
She claimed that Bishop Onyeagoziri circulated her nude pictures after she left him and went back her village.
Bishop Onyeagoziri has since denied having any s3xual intercourse with the victim and having a hand in the leaked images.
He claimed that ‘My phone was stolen earlier this month, and after all efforts by those in possession of the phone to extort me failed, they resorted to denting my image. Those pictures you see are doctored. They aren’t real’.
