Ghanaian prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah has dole out the sum of GH₵ 2.2 million to traders who were affected by the fire that swept through Kantamanto Market January this year.
More than a thousand shops were burnt down through the inferno, and victims have been begging for support to restart their businesses.
Adom Kyei Duah’s GH₵ 2.2 million donation will make a huge difference in the lives of the affected traders.
Though the Prophet’s gesture is commendable, others acknowledged that he is only giving back what was taken from the society.
‘Marketing budget. Once customers come on board, Prophet will recover more than his investment’, Suhuyini commented on X.
Tweeter added ‘Thats 1% of their total monthly offerings’.
Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei is thought to be the spiritual father of actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.
