The leader and founder of Kumasi-based Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom (also popularly known as Prophet 1 or Reverend Opambour) has opposed government’s decision to restrict movement of people in some part of the Ghana as a measure to control the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
President Nana Akufo-Addo on Friday imposed a lockdown on areas in Accra, Tema, Kasoa and Kumasi, where significant numbers of the viral infections have been recorded.
These areas will be under ‘curfew’ for two weeks effective Monday 30th March, 2020.
Reverend Opambour on Sunday claimed on his private TV station ‘ Prophet 1 TV’ that God has revealed to him what the nation should do in order to clear the deadly coronavirus out of Ghana.
To this end, the man of God said the President did not have to impose the lockdown whiles he already has the divine solution to deal with the virus.
Reverend Opambour observed in the live TV programme monitored by your most gossipy news website, Kasatintin.com that the lockdown will largely affect the conditions of the ordinary Ghanaian who lives from hand to mouth, never knowing where the next meal was coming from.
He suggested to President Akufo-Addo to call off the lockdown in view of the aforementioned situation.
Prophet 1 also advised people who are closer to the President to contact him with immediate effect for a discussion on the spiritual solution God has revealed to him on coronavirus.
Reverend Opambour shed tears as he put his message across.
