Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has been granted bail of GH¢200,000 with two sureties on Tuesday.
A circuit court in Accra refused the Ghanaian prophet bail during the first hearing of his case two days ago.
Rev Owusu Bempah took ill and was rushed to the hospital hours after the court ordered that he be kept in police custody until September 20,2021 when his case will be heard again.
He was treated at the police hospital.
The controversial cleric who heads the Glorious Word Power Ministries International and three others have been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and threat of death.
Owusu Bempah and the other suspects were arrested by the police on Sunday, September 12, 2021 for issuing threats, brandishing weapons and attacking police officers.
