Accra,Ghana: Armed robbers have launched an attack on a bullion van at the Star Oil Fuel Station near the ECG office in Ablekuma Fanmilk.
The robbers shot the police officers in the van, injuring them in the shoulder and abdomen.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, June 22,2023 after the van made a stop at the filling station.
The robbers escaped with the stolen money.
It is alleged that all CCTV cameras at were offline for maintenance at the time of the daylight robbery.
Currently, the whereabouts of the bullion van driver is unknown.
