A simple social media post by one lady named Josey Mahachi has caused confusion online.
Josey Mahachi who describes herself as a multimedia journalist at Deutsche Welle (DW) shared a photo of herself and late President Jerry John Rawlings looking directly into each other’s eyes while seated at a function.
Josey dropped the picture as a reply to President Nana Akufo-Addo’s tweet on the one year anniversary of late Jerry Rawlings.
‘Gone but not forgotten. Continue to rest in peace, Comandante Jerry John Rawlings’, Akufo-Addo’s message read.
Following this post, Josey Mahachi commented that ‘I miss him too!!!?’ and added a memorable photo in which the ex-Ghana president gave her a very long and affectionate look.
She also gazed intently into Rawlings’ eyes.
Josey Mahachi didn’t explain the motive for sharing the romantic picture on social media.
That has in fact given room for people to throw in all forms of speculations.
The passing of Jerry John Rawlings has led to a bag of rumours about his private life.
Nathalie Yamb,an Ivorian woman cum Scottish politician joined the world to mourn Rawlings.
He is alleged to be the sidechic of Rawlings and they had a son, Malik Stephane together.
In the early hours of his death, Nathalie said ‘3 months today. So dearly missed. Why the white hair? As a tribute to JJR….. Pourquoo le cheveux blancs ? En hommage à Jerry Rawlings’.
