The 30-year-old daughter of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bekwai Kwaku Kyei Baffour has been murdered at her matrimonial home in Atwima Bebu in the Ashanti Region.
Initial report claimed that Akua Serwaa was shot dead when robbers attacked her at home and made away with her televison set.
Other media reports indicated that gunmen shot her dead in her car while driving home.
The incident happened on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
According to husband of the deceased, he returned home at about 5:30pm on Thursday and found Serwaa lying unconscious at the back of their house and rushed her to the hospital.She was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The man recounted that their living room and bedroom were ransacked and a television set stolen.
Strangely, police investigations revealed that neither doors or windows in the house were been broken into.
Also, no marks of voilence or gunshot wound was found on Akua Serwaa’s body.
Sewaa’s body has been deposited at the Bekwai Municpal Hospital morgue pending autopsy while police intensify their investigations into the murder case. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
