Suzzy Pinamang, a female student who was shot at Bantama Seventh Day Adventist Senior High School is going blind gradually.
According to Asante Nation blog on X, although Suzzy has been treated and discharged from the hospital, a number of bullets are stuck in her face and have not yet been extracted.
‘Since she is in excruciating pain at the moment, the family is pleading with Ghanaians for financial assistance to help pay for additional medical operations that will help her situation’, the blog said.
Suzzy and another student suffered gunshot wounds inflicted by their classmate identified as Bernard Amoateng.
Reports indicate that on Friday, April 4,2025, the suspect brought the gun to school, and an argument ensued among some students over whether the gun was real.
To prove to his friends that it is real gun, Bernard is alleged to have fired the weapon, consequently injuring two students.
The victims were taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital for treatment.
