A man, believed to be a member of the Ghana Drunkards Association, has committed suicide by hanging at Ablekuma Olebu in the Anyaa Sowutuom area in the Greater Accra Region.
Reports say the deceased had complained bitterly about the attitude of his wife towards him, which later forced him to vacate his home to find peace with his friends.
The lifeless body of the deceased was found hanging, tied with a sponge at the ceiling bar in his room, days after he was not seen in public.
The body was found at a decomposing state, and it has since been retrieved by police and transported to the morgue for further investigations.
President of the Ghana Drunkards Association, Moses Onya Drybone has expressed shock about the incident.
