Dr John Kumah, Deputy Minister for Finance and Member of Parliament for Ejisu dead at age 45.
He died in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, in Germany, where he was receiving medical treatment.
John Kumah, also the inaugural Chief Executive Officer for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), survived by his wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and six children.
Dr Kumah can be described as an entrepreneur, lawyer, politician, and preacher who saw his various roles as a calling to serve humanity.
He is credited as the founding father of the Young Patriots, a youth political activist and pressure group of the ruling NPP.
Prior to his political appointment, Dr. Kumah served as the founding member and Managing Partner of Aduaprokye Chambers, a law firm. He also established Majak Associates Ltd, a building and construction company.
Dr John Kumah held a Doctorate in Business Innovation from the Swiss Business School in Switzerland and a Masters in Applied Business Research.
He attended University of Ghana, and graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics with Philosophy and Law, followed by admission to the Ghana Bar in 2013. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
