A first year Art Education student of University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has committed suicide after he found out that his fiancée, also a student, was cheating on him.
The deceased, popularly known as Khon Void reportedly committed took his 0wn life by hãnging on Wednesday, April 16,2025.
Several blogs reports that the young man collapsed after he unexpectedly found his girlfriend and another individual busily making love in one hostel on campus.
‘Some colleagues helped to restore his consciousness, he resorted to ending it all the following day by h.angin.g himself’, an eyewitness stated in a social media post.
Friends describe Khon Void as a very reserved person, and have expressed shock at how he passed away.
Most campus dating often do not end well. About 5 years ago, the romantic relationship between Sammy and Nana Ama, both students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) became the talk of town after Nana Ama jilted Sammy.
