Veteran Nigerian comic actor, Mr Ibu known in private life as John Okafor has died on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
The nollywood actor passed away in a Lagos State hospital. Mr Ibu was 62 years. He had a total of 13 children with two different women.
Reports say Ibu has been on life support for some time now after he underwent a second surgery to deal with the constant clotting of blood on his leg (diseased blood vessels).
Mr Ibu’s leg was amputated in November 2023 as part of first procedure to correct his illness.
A family source revealed that his blood pressure had hit over 200 after surgery and doctors were doing their bit to stabilize it when he sadly passed away Saturday evening.SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
