At least 13 wedding guests including groom’s brother, sister-in-law have died following a fatal road accident in Rivers State, Nigeria.
Many others have also been injured.
The crash which occurred close to Akpoku- Udufor community on Sunday, September 26, involved a Coaster bus filled with passengers and a truck.
The bus somersaulted several times after a head-on-collision with the truck, witnesses said.
Kasatintin.com gathers that the bus was conveying passengers from Afara community in Etche to another community in the neighbouring Imo State for the traditional marriage between one Chief Ambrose Igbokwe Nwuzi and his third wife.
Less than 30 minutes after the bus took off, it collided with a truck killing more than 13 passengers, who were mostly parents.
