Kasatintin.com has gathered exclusive information about the identity of the personal bodyguard of Samira Bawumia, who met his untimely death in a terrible road crash on Saturday afternoon.
Fuseini Mumuni was traveling with Mrs Bawumia on the Kumasi-Accra Highway when a commercial vehicle rammed into their convoy.
They were returning from Bonwire in the Ashanti Region to Accra when the tragic incident happened. The Second Lady survived the fatal accident.
Kasatintin.com has learnt that Fuseini Mumuni has served as bodyguard for the Bawumia family since 2008.
Until his demise, Fuseini was a member of the Closed Protection Unit in the Office of Vice President,Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The deceased is a past student of Accra Academy. He was a member of the 1996 year group.
On Sunday, January 15, Mumuni Fuseini was buried in line with Islamic traditions. Samira and husband witnessed the burial ceremony.
In a tweet, Dr Bawumia described Fuseini as a ‘hardworking member of the Closed Protection Unit’ adding ‘My condolences to his family and friends. May Allah forgive Fuseini’s shortcomings and grant him Jannah’. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
