A devastating incident has rocked the Islamic Senior High School in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, as the Boys’ Prefect, Abass, took his own life by jumping from the top floor of the school’s administration block.
Sources close to the family reveal the troubled teen had been struggling with suicidal thoughts for a while.
Some students also knew about his intentions but thought he was joking.
The heartbroken family has since buried Abass in accordance with Islamic traditions.
