The mother of controversial Ghanaian prophet, Reverend Obofour turns 60 years.
The founder and leader of the Anointed Palace Church (APC) organised a big 60th birthday party for his mother this weekend.
The well-publicised birthday party was attended by over 5,000 people (including children), according to the estimation of Kasatintin.com.
The pastor drove his 60-year-old mother in his latest Royce Rolls to church.
Some generous well-wishers followed the car and sang a birthday song for her. But others also pulled their mobile phones to take photos of Reverend Obofour’s Royce Rolls.
The Kumasi-based pastor also called Asanteman Bofour loves celebrating the birthdays of his loved ones. He recently threw a lavish birthday party for his wife which incidentally became the talk of town.
Reverend Obofour is ‘f!lthy’ rich and fond of singing ‘w0rldly songs’ in his church. He once jammed to Shatta Wale’s ‘Freedom’ song.
We do not readily know the level of education of the APC General Overseer, but Reverend Obofour fairly speaks good English.
Comparatively, Reverend Obofour flows in the Queen’s language better than many of the ‘Kumasi-groomed-pastors’ such as Prophet Kumchacha, Osofo Kyiriabosom, Reverend Adarkwa Yiadom (a.k.a Prophet 1), Apae Live, Bishop Isaac Owusu-Bempah, Computer man, Apraku My Daughter, Jesus Abrantie and Angel Obinim.
