A filling station which has been selling ‘fake’ fuel products to unsuspecting motorists in Nigeria has been exposed.
A journalist did an extensive undercover investigations and discovered that the said fuel station (name withheld) has cheated its customers for many years.
The newsman captured the scene when scores of customers, mainly commercial drivers trooped to the premises of the filling station to confront the staff for filling their cars with water instead of the fuel they pay for.
In one live video, some of the cars instantly developed faults after their tanks were filled up with petrol or diesel.
Officials of the fuel station were yet to comment on the allegations at the time of publishing the story.
