A middle-aged man identified as Rockson Kwasi Nsiah, who was reported missing a week ago has been found dead at Biadan, Berekum in the Bono Region.
Rockson’s body was found in the bush trapped in a hole.
Kasatintin.com gathers that the deceased was found on Monday in a bush with his one hand stuck in a rat hole.
Witnesses believe the man got bitten by a deadly reptile while hunting for rats.
Rockson was tightly holding a decomposed rat when being rescued from the rat hole.
According to Francis Donkor, an eye witness, all attempts to get the body and the hand of Rockson Kwasi Nsiah out from the ground proved futile at first time.
He stated that they were only able to drag the body after libation was poured with prayers offered at the scene of the tragic death.
Father of the deceased said his son went to the farm with the mother but did not return.
Initially, they thought Rockson had slept at their hamlet in the farm but they began to search for him when days past and he showed no sign of returning home.
